Our Vision is for a Generation of Christians to emerge from the IFES movements who know how to bring the values and the message of Jesus' Good News into every area of their societies.

We long to see Christians in business, politics, education, medicine, science, economics, management in fact in every area of society, who have a clear vision for the mission they have to make Jesus known to those around them through the way they live and the way they speak of Him.

We believe that ordinary Christians who are occupied day by day in ordinary places are in fact the front-line of Christian interaction with our non-believing world.

Our dream is that every IFES movement will do all it can to Prepare its students for life after University; encourage them to build Support for themselves appropriate to their context; and actively seek to Involve them as partners in helping to build the work of IFES.

Preparation is the work that all student workers should undertake with their students to ensure that they have a clear vision for serving Jesus with the whole of their lives, especially in the immediate post-university years. Many graduates forget all that they have been taught as students about the need of those around them to hear the life-changing message of Jesus’ good news. They often slip into working life with no greater vision than making ends meet or saving for the next adult toy or foreign vacation!
