Graduates Resources

The graduates leaving IFES student groups and moving out into the wider world are the fruit of all that we do in student ministry.

Graduates from IFES movements will become the future of Christian witness in each of our countries as they seek to live with the values and words of the Gospel at the heart of our societies. Every graduate from every IFES movement has the potential to shape the world we live in as they bear witness to Christ’s Lordship in every part of society, from home-making, to law making, from medicine to politics, from education to business.

To be all that we can be as Christians in the world after university we need a clear vision of all that Jesus intends us to be. We need to understand how God’s plan for His planet fits with our hopes and desires for our lives. We need to understand how His word speaks with clarity and consistency as to what a Christian life will look like in the different circumstances we face. We need to remind ourselves of the Good News that is the Gospel, and we need to learn how we can become continuing ambassadors of that good news in the working world.

In every country of Europe, Christians in their workplaces are the front-line of evangelistic opportunity because it is here alone that we are living day by day in the midst of a world that doesn’t know Jesus. Many of the people you work with as a young graduate may never know another Christian as well as they know you.

Here in the Graduates Section we have articles on a variety of fresh topics you will face in the workplace, together with resources, links and advice on how to build a work with your movement that helps other graduating students to get the vision for making Christ known wherever they are and whatever they do.
