The Mark Drama is an innovative way of experiencing the Gospel for yourself and communicating it to others.
The aim of the interactive version of The Mark Drama is that a group of Christians experience the whole of the Gospel, with everyone involved in the presentation. This is also a very powerful fellowship experience, as the whole group works together to achieve this aim.
Student groups in Austria, Hungary, Latvia, France, Ireland and England have already performed the team version on their campuses.
We are now proposing a training conference where each movement in Europe has been invited.
The programme of the conference would include the following:
• worship and prayer
• working through some of the director’s notes together
• Andrew Page directing one or more sections of the drama, so that people can see how this can happen
• Opportunities for individuals to practise directing individual sections or part-sections
• Some guidelines on how to train other directors
Outcomes: That every delegate will be able to do two things: to direct the Mark Drama in their own country, and to train others in their own country to direct the Mark Drama.
• Dates: 22nd-25th April 2010. Arrival 22nd for the evening meal and departure 25th after breakfast (with the option to stay for the church service.
